Suman Sharma was born in the holy city of Kashi during late 1960s to Beena and Ramswaroop Mishra. She pursued her school and university education from the city with a degree of B.A. from Kashi Vidyapeeth. She is a married woman with two children.
Her father was a well-known Ayurvedic Vaidya in Kashi. As the youngest child, she was very close to her spiritual parents who raised her with strong religious beliefs. A devotee of the Supreme Lord Shri Krishna, Suman was always driven to reading religious texts and listening to spiritual people.
Suman has lived in different cities within India and abroad throughout her life. She was a teacher of Hindi language in Singapore where she received appreciation for her proficiency in Hindi and potential as an educator and mentor. After her return to India, she was associated with the Jagannath Charitable Trust for years where she understood the Shrimadbhagwad Geeta and first started to spread its teachings among friends and family. With the blessings of Lord Shri Krishna, these series of life events made her the promoter of Shrimadbhagwad Geeta, that she is today.
After years of being a regular practitioner of Shrimadbhagwad Geeta, Suman is now a teacher of Shrimadbhagwad Geeta at RGS Gurukulam. Apart from teaching and spreading the message of Geeta online and in person, she established an online group named Geetokt Geeta focused on Vedic knowledge and Sanatan dharm which today has grown to a few hundred devotees contributing actively to educating and spreading awareness about the religiously rich past of Bharat.
